Pi Day

What are you ladies doing to celebrate Pi Day (March 14- 3.14) this year? We have initiation at Eta Omega that day! It's so cool that our Alphas will have the date of Pi Day on their pins forever! I don't think it was planned this way, but it's awesome!

What is Pi Day?

This is new to me, too!!

We used to have an "Apple Delta Pie" day, when we invited people in for (what else?) Apple Delta Pie, but not in March. I'd love to hear more about this!!

HOW clever!!!! that is really a cute thing to do. I have never heard of it before now, but what a great idea for a 6th or 7th grade math class!!! My daughter's chemistry class has a "mole" day for mole solutions :) (avagadro's -sp?- number) where everyone brings in snack's shaped like moles ;)

Apple Delta Pie - I love it! That sounds like a great alumnae/collegiate activity!

I know that a few chapters did it. No special recipe (some put those candy red hots in theirs, others served it a la mode with butterscotch topping), but it was cute & fun!

Pi Day? I've never heard of this, either! Sounds great to me.

Now, how appropriate is that?

May I suggest some Apple Delta Pie afterwards? ;)

Well, after the ceremonial pillow fight and the painting of the azure blue catsuits...

I've never heard of Pi Day either....but it's a great idea! Unfortunately, being an alumna, I'm not with a collegiate chapter to help or anything, so I'll be busy doing homework on Pi Day ~ which is during my Spring break! :p

Pi Day

I guess I must know about Pi Day because I'm in elementary education, and we always look for other opportunities to reinforce a teaching opportunity. Anyway, Pi Day is just the opportunity to celebrate the fact that it's 3.14 (March 14th.)

This important fact has been brought to you by Alphie the Lion, Apple Delta Pie and other sponsors.

WLFEO 03-12-2004 09:56 AM

OOOOOOHHHHHHHHH....... so it's not an ADPi thing?????? I see- how clever!

texas*princess 03-12-2004 10:34 AM
