BLGO Movie Featuring Da Bruhz and Others
Greetings Brothers,
In light of all of the deaths the brothers have been experiencing the last year, I have a bright note I want all of the bruzz to be informed of. As you all know my Chapter Brother Curtis Creighton passed away last September but before he did, along with several of my Chapter Brothers, Merciless Mu Theta and some other good Brothers went to L.A. and performed a stepshow for a movie titled Steppin Back. We got to represent Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.,the first time in a movie the brothers got to be owt with the letters, for the step show scene. Well the movie is out now and will be coming to Atlanta from March 13th- March 19th at the Magic Johnson Theatre in Atlanta. At the beggining of the film they show Brother Creighton's Obituary and give their support out to the family. So brothers in the Atlanta area please go out and check the movie out. Also I heard there are two Brothers having a stepshow sponsored the same night of March 13th. The Movie people would like to help you owt with some extra stuff for the event and help pub the movie which is about Black Fraternities and Sorrorities. It will be going to Chicago and possibly Houston next. In Chicago we will all be there at the opening to help support Curtis family who all reside in the Chicago area. Also we are in the final stages of setting up the scholarship fund in Brother Creigthon's name at Iowa State University. I will be sending more information out about that as we get things finalized. If brothers have any questions please feel free to email me or call me directly. Also if anyone knows of the stepshow and the brothers sponsoring it please get in touch with me ASAP! Fraternally yours, Marvin DeJear, JoQer Spr.95 Merciless Mu Theta Chapter of tha OHH! SO Crazy 8th D! |
Whenever you get the date for the Chicago show I'm sure that I along with some of the sorors here would love to come up and view it as well.
Be blessed Rosalyn |
I just picked up this movie on Saturday. The step show scenes were wonderful! However, I'm not really sure about the rest of the movie. Was the guy who wrote/directed it Greek?
