Wine Industry
 

Is anybody out there working in the wine industry? Particularly as a Sommelier? I am taking my first level Court of Master Sommeliers Cert. in August and after that I need to get some internships er something so I can continue on? does anyone know how it works? exactly how does one graduate from waiter to a plush sommelier job?

I grew up in a non-professional wine family. My dad is a vintner and his best friend as a kid is the manager of Wally's, LA's premier wine and spirit store.

Have you checked out The Sommelier Society of America's job listing site? Also, sommelier jobs is supposed to have good information.

I've tried Sommelier jobs before but most of their offerings require more expirence than I have at present. I'll check out the other one though maybe it has some more info.
