fiji letters
 

Dear brothers of FIJI-
Hey guys i was wondering if you could take a moment to answer a question i had about your organization. Even though we do not have a fiji chapter at Frostburg I was told that you all were not allowed to wear letters until the day that you died and at that point you were to be buried in them. I was wondering if that was at all true and if they was any fact behind this.

We aren't allowed to wear our letters out of respect for them, but I'm not sure if I would go as far as to say that FIJI's get buried with them. We're only allowed to have our letters on certain places like our badge. I guess it's just one more thing that makes us a unique fraternity.

Sounds like a little mix-up...There are only certain places that the letters can go. A tombstone/memorial happens to be one of them-I think thats where whoever told you that got that from.
