CFEA
Has anyone heard of the CFEA (College Fraternities Editor Association) and/or does your GLO (or BGLO, LGLO, etc.) belong to it... ?
I just became my fraternity's National Editor, and our Prez mentioned the possibility of sending me to their Convention. (We're currently looking into the organization). Just wanted some info, insight, stories, etc. that might enlighten me! Thanks! Their website is http://www.cfea.org if anyone wants to check it out. ------------------ SilverTurtle@greekchat.com Phi Beta Fraternity Phi chapter |
I've heard of CFEA. They give out awards for things like "Best Greek Website" "Best Greek Magazine Layout", stuff like that. I just assumed all Greek orgs were automatically a part of it. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/tongue.gif Congratulations on becoming National Editor for your fraternity.

I don't know if all Fraternties and Sororities are in it, or if you have to be an actual "member"... I do know that they have members listed on their site. (Which is what makes me think it's probably an organization that requires applied membership, dues, etc.)

Hi! I think we (Sigma Alpha) belonged once but have not recently. However, after looking at their site, I want to look into membership again! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif
I believe there are annual dues for your GLO to belong to CFEA, to cover costs. I couldn't find how much those are on the site, let me know if you find that info. p.s. Congrats! I've served as our newsletter editor a few times, lots of work but also very rewarding! |
