Have you seen this?
http://www.kappakappagamma.org/voyage/
KKG has a wonderful section on its website called "Voyage of Discovery," with a timeline of developments in women's history paralleling KKG's history. There are also virtual tours of their Heritage Center (at Headquarters) and of the Stewart House at Monmouth College (where they were founded). Very, very impressive! |
Thanks AGDAlum! :)
http://www.kappakappagamma.org/voyag...iew/index.html I like it because it focuses on many early women pioneers, not just Kappas. I have had the wonderful opportunity to visit our Heritage Museum and it is definitely an experience! I tried to visit the Stewart house (Mr. ISUKappa was in Monmouth for a track meet so I tagged along) but it was closed. If any of you ever get a chance to visit your GLO headquarters, places of founding or museums, GO! You get such a more broad perspective on the history and breadth of your org. |
Wonderful site! It shows not only KKG's 130+ year history, but the accomplishments of women in general during the time.
I took the virtual tours of the Heritage Museum and Stewart House. They are gorgeous buildings and the furnishings are beautiful. http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/.../pinksmile.gif |

I only hope ZTA's new site looks that good! :D |
