question about 1 of FL chapters history
I know its not the greatest question but i was watching a movie about Ted Bundy and one of my sisters mentioned that he killed i believe 2 members of the Chi Omega chapter somewhere in Florida. My question is this, after the killings did that chapter relocate to a differant house or anything; I mean after such a horrible event i would think they would've. Please let me know.

It was at FSU. They did not change houses, but I was told by a number of Chi Omegas that they rebuilt the second floor so that the room, where it took place, is now divided into new rooms. The exterior of the house was a very generic, and bland facade. Several years later, they performed a major renovation, and it included a new, and more attractive facade. In other words, they changed the scond floor's walls. Also, they installed a state-of-the-art security system that was as advanced as typical systems are today, 20 years later.
Prior to the Ted Bundy incident, all of the sororities had been on a trend, for many years, to loosen their rules with regards to allowing visitors into the house at late hours, as well as on upper floors. After the Ted Bundy murders in the Chi Omega house, all of the sororities at FSU clamped down, and have not loosened their regulations. |

Just to answer your question, Tri Sigma, the FSU chapter still lives in the same house. XO, as well as the rest of the sororities practice very strict guidelines with visitors and security. Being from Florida, us XOs have heard about this tragic event. If you have any further questions, feel free to PM me.
