No SATC Movie
 

I didn't think a movie would be a good idea anyway.

I heard there was to be no movie because SJP and Kim Catrell hated each other.

that was supposedly a big rumor.

i read this morning that there would be no movie b/c SJP and KC wanted a lot more money then the studio could offer.

They tied the show's loose ends up pretty neatly with the series finale, so I guess a movie isn't an absolute necessity per se. I was just looking forward to a movie, because I miss that show already! I guess I have to buy the DVDs! :)

The DVDs NEVER get old!! I still watch mine all of the time - i love em :D

The book is really good too, if anyone's read it. I actually found it and read it way before the series. :D

Interesting fact about the book (if you don't know already): There are two different endings, one with Carrie and Big "together" and another with Big married to someone else and Carrie "happily single". The latter was published about a couple of years ago, perhaps to trick us???

I have the copy that ends "Carrie and Mr. Big are still together." I remember seeing the new chapter with Carrie happily single...that did come out a couple years ago, once the show had been on for a while.

Samantha's character on the series is pretty true to the book. Charlotte is an English journalist in the book, and Miranda is a cable TV executive. It's interesting to spot all the differences.
