Website contest
Nicoles post about the International website got me thinking... :)
It would be nice to have a yearly website competition similar to the yearbook and scrapbook competitions currently held. It would encourage more chapters and councils to make websites, and keep them updated. And I think it might be helpful in changing the culture of "technology is bad" that currently runs rampant in our sorority. What do you think? |
Fantastic idea!! Websites are one of our greatest advertising tools. And they're so fun to make.

I totally love this idea. It might break the vicious circle of "technology/the internet is bad, we won't use it, but we need to get new members, one good way to do that is to use the internet". My chapter doesn't have a website (I don't think), but I might ask at tonight's meeting if we (I) could set one up for us.

Sounds Fabulous! I used to participate in website competitions with my personal site and got really addicted to them. In fact I'll probably get back in once I graduate depending on how much spare time I have, but yeah I love the idea and if you need help setting it up let me know. I'd be glad to help.

I guess I should have read this thread b4 posting in the other on about Int'l webpage lol.;)
Just curious, has anyone created a prototype or actual website for their chapters where none existed? Has the chapter seen it, voted on it, etc? There is talk in our City Council about creating a web page and linking it to the Int'l site. Plus we have a resident webmistress.:) |
