HELP For the Internet Illiterate

I'm sure there are those of us on here who have no idea what certain phrases and letters mean to GC'ers. For me, the word is "bump." What in the world does this mean?

Anyone else out there who needs some clarification, go ahead and post with me!!!!

All *bump* means is that a poster is bringing an older thread back to the top.
