City of Chicago - Pit Bull Ban
 

I posted this in Chit Chat but also wanted to put it here.

The city of Chicago is looking to ban the ownership of Pit Bulls. There's more info on the site. Please go to it and sign the petition - for all pet owners. I love my Am Staff and would hate for this to happen to me.

Why?

I don't understand why you crosslisted this in separate forums but anyway. Because they pose a great danger. Some don't, but many do. You have regulations preventing you from owning assault weapons...why not have something with the potential of eating your face? Cut me a break. You could have gotten any animal. You got a dog that has the genes of a potential killer.

I believe that I should be alowed to own a pit bull, and an assault weapon. I also believe that I should be allowed to teach my pit bull how to use that assault weapon.

I oppose the draft. However, a militia, of well armed pitt bulls, is a compelling idea. That just might be what we need to keep the French in their place.

Rudey - honey you are so misunderstood on the breed. Why don't you do us all a favor and read up on it and then post something useful. You just know about the stereotype of the breed and not the breed itself. It's that kind of stupidity that causes bans like this to occur. Educate yourself about the breed, please.
And the reason I crossed possed it is because I know not a lot of people come in here and I wanted to get the most views as possible.

I support well armed pit bulls, but not spam. Cross posting is a sin. Everytime someone cross posts, God kills not only a kitten, but a pit bull puppy as well.

And yeah maybe you're right. Poodles eat babies faces off.

Me too. My dog would probably lick their faces off, though, rather than eat them. He's only half poodle so that might be why.
