Sad News
 

I just wanted to ask all of you to keep one of our sister's in your thoughts. Her mom died last night after a heart attack and the viewing is this Saturday. This is a big blow for her. Thanks everyone.

You Poor Girls! My sister's father died this Fall and it was one of the hardest things I have been through in my life.

Thanks everyone. She's doing okay right now, but it all happened so suddenly, so it hasn't really hit her yet. We know she'll get through it, but it'll be tough.

The scary thing about all of this is that I saw her the day before it all happened as I was walking to class. Her mom worked on campus and gave us our refund checks. She loved my Alpha Phi shirts. :-)

I feel so awful about leaving town. I want to be here for Nichole but I think she needs time with her family.

She does need time with her family, but she does want us all to be at the viewing. It's tomorrow from 3-5pm here in town. She knows that everyone's thoughts and prayers are with her right now. :-)

The viewing was yesterday afternoon and it was really beautiful. She was very, very touched that so many sisters showed up to support her. Our chapter bought lilies of the valley for the viewing and also a card and a teddy bear for her. It was hard for all of us that were there to not cry because of how much she was hurting. It will take some time, but she'll be okay. :-)
