Miami U of Ohio AEPhi - closing?
 

Someone signed our national guestbook saying AEPhi's chapter at Miami University of Ohio is closing. Does anyone know if this is true? And if so, what happened?

Yes, it's true. They announced it yesterday. They are closing due to numbers. :( Very sad for them.

wow, i'm so sorry to hear that they are finally closing. my chapter closed a few years back and we expected them to close before us. it doesn't surprise me, but it's still very sad. their chapter had about 15 when our chapter closed. our chapter closed with 35 girls. on miami's campus you need to have at least 60-70 to be even semi strong.

i know they tried very hard to turn things around, but it just didn't work. once a chapter starts to flounder at miami, it's done.

I'm sad to hear it. My sympathies to these ladies, closing a chapter is a hard thing to deal with.
