Fave Bachelorette Runner Up (WARNING: SPOILERS FOR WEST COASTERS)
 

Out of the two Bachelorette runner-ups (so far, anyway), which one do you like more, Charlie (Bachelorette 1) or Matthew (Bachelorette 2)?

I like Matthew better. But then again Charlie was compared to Ryan...and Matthew was compared to Ian. I may feel different if it were reversed. Ryan was just too perfect.

Matthew, hands down.

I never really *liked* Charlie (I use that term in the sense that I didn't want him to be the final guy), so I was so excited to see him get out of the limo first that night so long ago :)

I almost started crying the minute Matthew got out tonight...the only upside I can see is if he'd agree to be the bachelor later on down the road a bit (I'd watch, but don't have the guts to audition!)

While I think Matthew is much, much cuter than Charlie (I have a thing for lighter hair), I almost cried when Trista sent Charlie home (especially when he said "Good bye, sweetheart" or somethin to that extent). I don't know, maybe it's because I actually watched every single episode of Bachelorette 1 and watched on and off for the second one.

I liked Matthew better... as someone stated before in the other thread, Charlie seemed a little fake. Matthew seemed genuine, though I think Charlie's more attractive- but even with Charlie, I wasn't all that impressed with his looks.

Did anyone see Matthew on Ellen today? I felt so bad for him because you could tell the last place he wanted to be was on tv talking about Meredith. I'm still so angry that she didn't pick him! He said in the interview that he was doing ok for awhile but now that he has to do the tv circuits its all coming back again. And he looked so down! :(

Poor guy, I think he's the first runner up that truely felt passionately about the girl.

I saw it too. Poor Matthew!!! At least Ellen didn't keep him on too long. I wanted to give him a hug!
