If you have read the Witness thread, you will see that I was offered a new job today. After almost 7 years on the same job (that I could do in my sleep on most days), I am moving on to a new challenge. Praise the LORD! My dilemma: How do I wean my self from greekchat?!?! I am seriously addicted and need some tips on how to make it through the day with out you guys?!?! I can't imagine only doing this at home in the evening! You can wean yourself from GC. I did it. Of course it helped that the company I used to work for required a user ID & password to access the internet, but that's not the point. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

For real though...it can be done. I use to peep ALL the time when it was REEEAAAAALLLL slow at my job. Now I've cut down to checking while I eat my breakfast and looking at lunch because I have meetings, and meetings and more meetings. I'm home now...but sometimes I don't even go online when I'm home. I've been in front of a PC all day, I don't want to come home to one too. Once you start working, you'll be too busy to check. You'll be fine...but prozac helped my friend who was addicted to the skeephi soaps. Eclipse, sweetie, you can wean yourself. It just takes determination. Treat it like the drug that it is. When you have the desire to go to the site, wait five minutes. After that five minutes is over, wait another five minutes. Try that. It's part of the 12 step program, lol. My friend had me do it to stop talking to my ex when we first broke up. It works!! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif You can't quit cold turkey. Check it once in the morning (ONCE), once at lunch (ONCE), and as much as you want to when you get off.
