NPC Representation in the Patriot League...
All these conferences...I didn't want mine to be left out!
Of the schools in the Patriot League (for either basketball or football) the following have Greek systems: Bucknell Colgate Lafayette Lehigh Towson American (Someone please correct if there's a system at Fordham, Georgetown, or Holy Cross...I'm quite sure it's not at Army and Navy.) At those schools there are a total of 40 chapters (not bad for small schools!) No org had more than 4 chapters total within the schools -- here's the breakdown (of what I could find on the web): 4: Delta Gamma (not at Colgate or Towson) 3: Alpha Chi Omega (At Bucknell, Lehigh & American) Alpha Phi (At Lafayette, Lehigh, and Towson) Alpha Gamma Delta (At Lafayette, Lehigh, and Towson) Chi Omega (At Bucknell, Lehigh, and American) Kappa Alpha Theta (At Bucknell, Colgate, and Lehigh) Kappa Kappa Gamma (At Bucknell, Colgate, and Lafayette) Pi Beta Phi (At Bucknell, Lafayette, and Lehigh) 2: Alpha Omicron Pi (At Lehigh and Towson) Delta Delta Delta (At Lafayette and Colgate) Gamma Phi Beta (At Colgate and Lehigh) Phi Mu (At Towson and American) Phi Sigma Sigma (At Towson and American) 1: Alpha Xi Delta (At Towson) Alpha Epsilon Phi (At American) Kappa Delta (At Towson) Sigma Delta Tau (At American) Zeta Tau Alpha (At Towson) which appears to leave Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Sigma Alpha, Alpha Sigma Tau, Delta Zeta, Delta Phi Epsilon, Sigma Sigma Sigma, Sigma Kappa, and Theta Phi Alpha unrepresented. ETA: Delta Delta Delta, which I forgot!! |
Hey daoine,
Thanks for giving us the Patriot League info! One question (hope this isn't something I missed in your post): isn't Delta Delta Delta at Colgate? They do have a web page for that chapter. |
Am I the only one who finds all these lists to be really useless?
-Rudey --Well I hope all your GLOs expand into all the athletic conferences regardless |
As with any thread, if you find it useless, you don't have to click on it. I am finding it interesting to read these threads. Since many of these athletic conferences reflect a geographic area and university size, I am intrigued by the ability to compare representation of different NPC groups. Thank you to all who have taken the time to do this research! It IS appreciated.

dakareng, I am with you!
I find it interesting and wish Some one would do it for NIC's. Rudey why dont you quit bitching and do some work like they have done!??:p DA! |
Rudy I have to disagree with you, these lists really do a better job of explaining regional distribution of groups than less empirical postings for example: the Southern Chapters or Mississippi lets discuss threads.

I on the other hand have to scroll through about 10 threads on useless crap (and I know I can't be the only one that thinks it's a little ridiculous). OK one or two conference and the Ivies - fine. Going into this obscure athletic conference to show which schools have which chapters is silly. Hey while you're at it, look up the UAA conference for us ok? -Rudey |

When did they start to call it the Patriot League? I think it used to be the Colonial League.
I was just a Fordham today coincidentally. |

I didn't know either, but I found it here: http://patriotleague.ocsn.com/school...o-aboutpl.html |

There is no NPC representation at Georgetown.
Alpha Epsilon Pi is the only NIC org there. There are BGLO and LGLO city-wide chapters there. |
