my motown movie
hi everyone
let me just put it out there. I LOVE THE TEMPTATIONS!!! of course i have the movie and i also saw standing in the shadow of motown which was about the funkbrothers. but i would like to see a movie that would tell about the supremes, from their start as the primettes to the end of the group. i don't know who i would want to play the parts though. do u have a group u want to see a movie about? got any actors or actresses in mind to play them. just curious |
MOTOWN
I would be nice to see a Motown movie on big screen.

As far as the Supremes go I would like to see Diana Ross play herself, but as for my Motown movie I would like to know how Barry Gordy got it all started, or the story of Stevie Wonder (oh that would be nice).

I'd also love to see something about the Supremes, but who would play Diana? I'd also love to see something on the life of the man who started this all, Mr. Berry Gordy. |
I would love to see a Motown movie too with all of the top acts. I would like to see Mary Wilson's books made into a movie. I thought it was interesting that she had so many boyfriends!! It was interesting to read how the different acts got started like the Four Tops, the Marvelettes, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and of course the Temptations (who were the Primes then) and the Supremes (who were the sister act - the Primettes)

Oh my gosh, a Marvin Gaye movie would be THE HOTNESS!
|
I loooooove The Temptations movie as well. My sister and I love to imitate Leon when he's singing "My Girl" and I love the performance of "I'm Losing You." The song seems quite prophetic, as far as the group was concerned. I was sad when Paul killed himself, though.......
Now as far as The Supremes go, I'd looooove to see Mary Wilson's books be made into movies. Not sure about Diana's book (Eye on the Sparrow?)..... |
I'm gonna have to CoSign on what was stated previously, a MARVIN GAYE movie. I would have the greatest actor on screen IMO, Mr. Samuel L. Jackson play Marvin Gaye. Would that not be hilarious? Imagine Samuel L. Jackson singing "Let's Get It On"
