sisterhood shirts
 

Hi... my chapter is struggling to find classy t shirt ideas... some we've used recently are the BMW symbol with "the ultimate sisterhood experience" and for bid day, "the thetas" written like the Sopranos and on the back "family. redefined."

Does anyone have some catchy, original ideas? I'm burnt out. : /

I know last spring the girls at the chapter I advise had really cute sisterhood once. They used a line from a regional band that plays in Ames a lot called Dazy Head Mazy. They were pink, with white and yellow lettering and on the front it said Theta and on the back, "I'll never forget you, I don't forget my friends." Probably not too helpful for you since the band probably doesn't play your area but song lyrics are always a good place to look.

One of the other bid day shirts they had in the past was a baby blue color and had different greek words written in white lowercase (like delta eta omega)all over the front, with the words KAPPA ALPHA THETA in the center and then the back said Stand Out, Bid Day. I know I've seen some cute ones over the years, let me see what I can remember...

That has been a topic on the Theta national site, too. Such cute ideas! I think it would be OK to repost them here... well, now that I think about it, I don't know if it would be OK. I'll send a PM!!

One that I've seen from Thetas and other sororities is the Tiffany & Co. logo style. Use the robin's blue/turquoise blue color of the Tiffany boxes and put Theta & Co.

Another cute one is the J'adore by Christian Dior logo. The letters are in white (usually) on a pastel shirt and they kind of 'bounce' on the shirt. Like the first letter is slightly higher than the 2nd letter, the 3rd letter is a bit lower...etc...

A 3rd idea is a Ralph Lauren logo style. Instead of the RL letters, use the KAO letter and a polo player on a horse. May not work if the campus is strongly anti-preppy? :rolleyes:

One that we're getting this semester has a really cute little slogan (not sure of the colors yet).

"Theta. All the Greek you need to know."

This year our Rush/Bid Day sweatshirts had a Top Gun design on the front that had our letters for active members and "Theta" for new members. On the back they said "Take me to Theta . . . Or Lose Me Forever" from Top Gun (cute, huh?). I thought it was fun.
