My mom's a Gamma Phi!!!
 

Well, we FINALLY had initiation with the Delta Lambda chapter and my mom, as well as 22 other beautiful women, was initiated! She was so excited and I'm so happy to be able to share something like this with her! The ceremony was a little disorganized, but still meaningful and I'm talking with our advisory board on becoming ritual advisor to improve everything.

It's just that the closest collegiate chapters are in upstate Alabama and in New Orleans. G-Phi alumnae in Mississippi are a rarity. Kind of sad.

GPhiLLama -- I am an Alum Extension Coordinator; my job is to help get alum chapters or Crescent Circles started....I have been trying for nearly 5 years to get an alum chapter re-started in New Orleans -- but thought I have made two trips there, I have yet to find an alum who will follow thru beyond the initial interest meeting... I have been in frequent contact with the PCD Patricia Crowley and even the leads she has given me have not panned out -- I have not given up hope though and would dearly love to get an alum chapter started in New Orleans...it is after all the CRESCENT city --- uh, HELLO! how much more perfect a sign could there be for a Gamma Phi location? If you know an alums who are responsible and will follow thru, please let me know their names and contact info...I do as much as I can to help so it is really not that difficult to get a chapter started...let me know OK?
