OK, kinda long but its funny.

I am here at home with my mom, dad, brother, sister, aunt, cousin, cousin's husban and their 3 kids: Hunter and Breanna who are twins in Pre-K and baby Abigail who is 18 months old. We decide to order chinese. Like $90 worth of chinese. So I am playing with the girls (who I love and they adore me) and a car pulls in to the drive way and I walk out (must be chinese) and the girls walk out with me. It is POURING rain out and freezing so I am wearing a pair of Levi's and a giant green sweatshirt from High school (not a local school) with no make up on, reading glasses and my hair pulled back in a long single plait. Needless to say I am not my best. So the delivery boy bring the food over and stares at me like I am the only female he has ever seen. At that time I am holding the baby my hip as I pay for the food and then he hands me his number and askes me out! This boy can't even be 18 and here I am looking like I have 3 children and a bum! What in the world did he see or is he desperate! The girls are going "oh gross, boys" and now my family thinks is funny as hell.

Damn I am having a Sr in high ask me out! I am 20 here people. LEAVE ME ALONE.

Now I need to go read Harry Potter to be little girls.

Take it as a compliment... There are lots of women who would enjoy the attention. It's not like you are going to go out with him. Be flattered and keep in mind that there are women who never get hit on.

Billy, it was a problem because she didn't think he was sufficiently hot enough for her, to be allowed to ask. ;)

20 isn't much older than your 18 year old high school senior.

Maybe it was like high school Sympathy Day? He saw you looking all forlorn, bedraggled, ugly and basically like a crack-whore-baby-mama and wanted to make you feel special and appreciated?

Maybe he is in one of those Christian clubs . . .

Kid deserves an award if you looked as bad as you are saying.

Nah, 20 is not a big difference from 18! (I'm talking age-wise, not maturity-wise. :p) Younger guys can be fun... :D

Get this...now this is bad. There's a couple of boys in the 7th and 8th grades in the middle school where I subsitute a lot, and they ask me out every time I'm in there. It never fails. If they're not asking me out, they're either asking me to marry them or trying to convince me that 14 is not that much younger than 23. Um...NO, I think I'll pass. I'd take a high school boy hitting on me anytime over those kids!

Haha! Reminds of when I was a senior in HS, some friends and I went over to the middle school a few afternoons a week to tutor math. My favorite comment was when we came in the first time, one little kid (not in our tutoring class) said to his friend (who was in our class), "Ooooh, high school girls! I wanna get in your class!" It was cute, but strange. Sorry guys, I'm not interested, try Michael Jackson.

There's a school of thought that says to get a lot of girls you need to be able to talk to all sorts of girls all the time, and ask out girls that you would never ever normally talk to (in this case an older girl youre delivering chinese to). The theory encourages talking to girls that you don't expect to talk again to start off so that you can begin gaining confidence...maybe your part of his plan to get the fly HS girls

I have seen a lot of this in the Navy.

For some reason, young boys (18-19ish, at their first duty station), seem to flock to women 10-15 years older than they are. I'm not talking hot seductresses, either. More often than not they're fat, unkempt and slovenly with a passel of kids from multiple men.

Very odd.

Damn I did look bad, so maybe it was High School Sympathy Day and I did not know about it. I thought it was in April!!!!!

And we all know it's not just limited to the Navy.

Some of these men flock to the first sign of pooooh-say right after boot camp/their first duty station because chances are, they haven't gotten any azz since they left their hometowns (if they were even that lucky).
