Alumni alliances

I'm just curious if any other campus has anything similar to this, and how well it's working. Basically it's alums (such as members of advisory boards, corp boards or other chapter representatives like house directors) from multiple chapters who have come together in hopes of providing further support to the Greek Community as a whole.
We (at Iowa State) have established committees to do research on issues like sprinkler systems, how we can help the marketing campaign that is used for recruitment, house bills compared to residence hall rates etc. The hope is to be able to provide each other with information in areas like the sprinklers as well as increase the number of students that join as a whole since numbers seem to be declining.
Do any other campuses have any kind of alum groups established to offer support not to a specific chapter but to offer support to the entire community?

Florida State

FSU has an ad hoc group of fraternity alumni to deal with common issues, including dealing with the administration. That particular problem is less of an issue now because of changes in the administration at the VP level. The fraternity alumni group, including a number of lawyers & a judge, had one quiet meeting with the VP and stopped plans to impose deferred rush and 'The Delaware Plan' dead in their tracks. The group is strong but is not formalized, and seeks a cooperative and mutually beneficial relationship with the administration. Overall, the U. is pro-greek. So far so good.
