we had a horrible greek advisor for a while. he blatently favored certain chapters (ie. ignored their recruitment violations), drank with certain fraternities, and didn't care when a chapter was in trouble.
fortunately, he's now gone and the new advisor actually cares about the greek system and theie image.

The Greek Advisor at the University I went to is horrible!!!!! I just found out today that she had the local organizations kicked off campus...I'm working on my plan of attack!

Straight from our University Student Handbook:
"Students are free to organize and join associations, and conduct business in their own interest. Student organizations have the right to establish membership requirements, qualifications for office, and rules of procedures for operation within the guidelines established by Student Government. University facilities are reasonably available so far as their primary use for educational purposes permit, on a non-discriminatory basis, to registered student organizations."

The Greek Advisor we have at CSU is far more better than the last one we had.

If anyone would like to help me stick up for Local Sororities and Fraternities please send an e-mail of concern to the following addresses:

jhogan@umflint.edu (University Relations)
khoppe@umflint.edu (Student Activities Coordinator)

They are trying to kick all of the local Greek organizations off of campus. The two local Greek organizations that are left, Alpha Theta Chi Sorority and Kappa Delta Xi Fraternity, are the oldest Greek Organizations on campus. They are trying to force both organizations to affiliate with National organizations, which is never going to happen.

I would greatly appreciate anyone's help!!!
