Whatup. Did anyone else get the new Kanye West CD? He shouts out the NPHC in his intro, it's kinda tight

I got the CD. It was nice but I was confused.

Is he really advocating dropping out of college because if he is then that is really bogus. Everybody can't be a big time rapper. Some people need to go to college.

Also what was up with the whole being a kappa refrence. Is he or isn't he. He said he didn't pledge.

lol, j/k.....he is not a Kappa. I interpreted that line as "I don't need to pledge to wear the colors."

LOL yeah that is what I thought as well. Let us not be so hasty to jump him yet lol!

The CD is pretty good. To me the song your talking about sounds as if people tried to cut him down cause he dropped out. So he was trying to say he didn't need college, but that is just my take.

Hey Frat!! Just tipping in to say what's up. I have Kanye West's CD and I have to say I was impressed . . I particularly like the workout tape cut . . . too funny "Hello, My name is EllaMae and I am from Mobile Alabama . . ."

As an aside, I wanted to let you all know that your Frat from North Carolina A&T ROCKED the Florida Invitational Stepshow . . they were robbed, but the show was good nonetheless.

I've been playing this CD for dang near 2 months solid. The Bernie Mac intros (#1, 3) crack me up!! ("what in the fuuuu--k was that, kany-aaaa? I tol you to do some isht for the kids...") Family Business is on (low, cause I'm in the office) right now ... "I got a Aunt Ruth that can't remember your name, but I bet dem polaroids will send her down memory lane ..."

help? abaici, I need another of your top-shelf reccomendations. :D

Awww, about to make a sista blush! LOL. Yeah, his CD is in HEAVY rotation. When I need a quick chuckle, I put it in just to listen to the Bernie Mac intros as well (the "sharing candy and stuff" line cracks me up). Even funnier, I have a teenage cousin who can recite it on demand (minus curse words of course).
