Question about a ceremony
 

Yes, Well I am a brother from the Psi chapter thinking about lavaliering my girlfriend, I know how big this is in SAM and I was wondering if anyone knew of a particular ceremony that should or does take place.

What we did at my chapter is we would all dress up in blazers, ties, and nice pants and pressed shirts and go the the girls sorority house and bring her out to the front porch and then Sammy that was giving her the drop would present it to her and then we would encircle them and serenade her with My Girl of Sigma Alpha Mu the official Sweetheart song. So, that is the Traditional ceremony and it very classy and simple and something the chapter and the sorority will talk up around campus about how classy and sharp the Sammy's are.
