Recruitment Retreat Weekend at FSU
 

Last weekend, our VP Recruitment and I went to the Recruitment Retreat Weekend at FSU, and had an AWESOME time!! Many thanks go to Marie, Heather, Wendi, Christine and all the VST that attended. I can't wait to implement the ideas that we had learned. Also, many more thanks to the Gamma Beta chapter who allowed us to crash in their beautiful chapter house. We had a wonderful time getting to know girls from other chapters, as well as exchanging ideas for Recruitment. We learned so much, and we found so many other reasons why we love Alpha Gam!!!

I'm still recovering, lol. ;)

Had to go to Cton Monday and didn't get home until 11 and back again last night. Off today...kinda working at home.

Let's chat tonight. We can do it on GC at 9 if people want to chat that don't have AIM. If it gets "too crowded", aka Greek shipping captains, lol, we'll go another route, lol.

It was great to meet all of you and work with you - I *know* you can all accomplish so much using the ideas that were shared! I am inspired and can't wait to meet with the Chapman girls next week to share the program with them. Joycelyn, good luck, and please don't hesitate to contact me if you need anything! :)

It's so funny to have so many Wendy/is on the Alpha Gam board! I'm the Wendy that was there - the other Wendi wasn't able to attend, but I talked about her a lot! ;) I'm the tall blonde, just to set the record straight! :) And I think there are a few other Wendy/is on here, too, but DeltaBetaAGD and I are the ones that are on the recruitment committee for the VST. We get mixed up all the time! :D

I echo the sentiments of thanks to the women of Gamma Beta! It was so fun to stay in the house! I slept up on the sleeping porch and felt like a totally moron when I couldn't get on the top bunk... must be my old age! ;) I had a great time though - meeting new friends and reconnecting with old! Good luck, ladies - and happy recruiting! :D

It is fun to have more than one Wendy/i on these boards! Yes, I am the short brunette (or some color close to that).

LOL! :D Wendy, I am sorry, I have to laugh at the thought of you struggling with the bed. I am sure you were dying of laughter too, which didn't help! ;)

OOPS...edited to add: I am so glad this past weekend was successful! There are a few of us on these boards who are on the Membership Committee of the VST. We are dedicated to Alpha Gam and helping our chapters remain or become more successful during recruitment. This was a fabulous opportunity that provided so much information. I only wish I could have been there! I am looking forward to seeing how it works with our women at Chapman. :D

I had a great week-end and enjoyed meeting so many collegians and awesome advisors.

It was a great program, and I can't wait to take it on the road.

Joycelyn, let me know how things are going . I hope you're using your royal septer with real authority!;)
