Florida Invitational Stepshow in Gainesville, Florida
Does anyone know anything about what is going on with this? I went on the website, and while the pictures are nice, it provides no info on other activites for the weekend, like time, etc. My LSs and I are trying to be out, but we don't have any info . .if you know something, help a Soror out!

Oh, and if anyone is getting there on friday, there is a comedy show. which normally has people from comic view perform. |
just wanted to say...
Congrats to the bruhs at gamma omicron for winning the florida invite for the 2nd time in a row and the third time in a row that an Iota team has won it.... |

*Sorry, Florida Sorors, for the hijack. |
Boo to the Iotas and Sigmas for getting into an altercation in the middle of the show, like they aren't college educated men  The Iota's show, (that I'd seen at a stepshow the night before at USF) was good nonetheless. Ups to the Alphas from North Carolina A&T who had my vote to be the winners. Their show was crazy and they had lots of potential if you know what I mean ;)
The Zetas also won for the ladies and the Deltas came in second. |

nah, just playin..the alphas did have a good show. you know how things get when people start hopping, thing happens. good things that cooler heads on both sides calmed it all down. oh yeah, frat from USF did tell me they won the show. :D damn, those Iotas...... and props to all the lovely ladies who were lookin' oh so fine that night. |
Yeah, I'm not knocking the Iota's show. It was tight, it was just that I'd JUST seen it. I am wondering if a picture of the altercation did, indeed, show up in the newspaper the next day. That reminded me of my days at FAMU. Every homecoming someone would show out in piblic (usually at the mall) and it would end up the cover story on the Democrat the next day. They always made it seem like the idiots causing the drama were from FAMU but they were always some hillbillies who never even stepped foot in somebody's classroom, they were just in town for the festivities. Anyhow, I was peeved that we always seem to feed the media negative material to broadcast to the world. *stepping off of my soapbox*
