Greek Family
 

I love to hear about everyone's greek family history, and so I thought we could share ours' here!

My parent's were both greek (as you read in my signature all the time). My father's brother was also a Sigma Phi Epsilon, but at a different university (UNO). His wife was an Alpha Xi Delta at UNO also, and her sister-in-laws were all AXiD's too (their husbands were all Sig Eps).
My dad's sister was also an Alpha Xi, but she was there earlier than my dad's brother's wife.

I'm still holding hope that MY sister will go greek in Lincoln next year! She's a legacy for two strong houses there, so hopefully she'll find a home :)

My Dad was President of the Pi Kappa Alpha chapter at his school (a fact I wasn't aware of until after his death) and I had several cousins who were Pi Beta Phis.

My Mom was a Special Initiate of Chi Omega (Does that make her my legacy?) :)

Oh NutBrn - that must have been so wonderful for you! I often wich I could share Chi O with my mom, but alas, she is a Kappa. At least we have the owl in common! :)

Dad - Delta Sigma Phi
Brother - Sigma Chi

2 uncles (who attended my university) - Delta Chi's.
One of those uncles (who passed away) was president of DX at my school. He also had a girlfriend who was a Chi O (not at my school, though).

My cousin (son of the still alive DX uncle) - TKE. He also attended my school!
His sister also went to our school (we are a real Western Michigan Univ. family!) but I could never get her to rush.

No greek for me
 

I am the first social greek in my family (that I know of)... everybody else is a Mason and/or was in greek honor societies.:(

But, I am trying to convince my brother to go Greek! He is a freshman at Tennessee Tech.

I'm one of the lone greeks in my family! My cousin is a kappa, but that's the only other person I can think of. But I plan on encouraging those younger than me!

My brother is a Lambda Chi Alpha.

my dad is a sigma alpha mu, my cousin is a sig ep, my uncle is an aepi and my other cousin (different sides of the family) is an SDT

My mom was an AOPi and my uncle was a Phi Delt.
