HI Sisters,

I thought this would be info that you might be interested in....

"Sisters,
The Eta Psi chapter of ADPi is facing some very tough
times right now. There has been talk from Grand
Council that the chapter must raise membership or the
sorority will close. This year marks a very dangerous
time for us.

We know that the strength of our sisterhood comes from
sharing it with quality women, and losing an entire
chapter means losing many opportunities to get to know
some really incredible future sisters. These women are
truly quality women struggling to overcome a numbers
lapse that has gotten increasingly worse for years-
you understand the cycle- the smaller you are, the
less attractive you are to some, the smaller you get.

Eta Psi needs your help- your help, your ideas, and
your support in getting back to Nationals that we want
to give these girls every opportunity in the next
coming months to get those numbers they need.

If after our efforts, the numbers are not there, the
chapter will close, and it will be a loss to VU and to
all of us, and the girls will need us still. They are
our sisters and they are struggling. Any support/
thoughts/ ideas can be sent to the current president:

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I'm sure that there are some people with some good ideas, and I know that there are a LOT of Eta Psi alumnae around! Good luck!

Thanks (and violets!) to Jen for posting this information for the others to hear about what's happening. I received *the letter* in the mail last week, and honestly, I don't know how to respond. My heart goes out to my entire chapter, and I wish them nothing but the best as they work to keep the chapter from closing. These are wonderful women who have a love for the organization, and if I could I'd be right back there in the trenches with them! I know that the support they can receive from sisters all around the world means the most to them, and I'm looking forward to seeing this chapter grow even more stronger in the coming days and weeks ahead!
