Currently we are using tripod, but we are looking to move our website. Anyone have any suggestions? It needsto be free we are thinking about geocities but we aren't sure

so far the best free site i have found is www.angeltowns.com they dont have ads and its unlimited bandwith but the only draw back is you would have to do everything by html there fore if you have limited knowledge of html i would go with geocities bc then u can choose to use html or use page builder

consider Topcities . The only real recommendations I have for it is that 150 Megs free and you can upload file extentions that Geocities won't allow. It's difficult to navigate the user control panel. The pop ups are very annoying.

If you go to a more technical university, you can often find web hosting companies that are owned by students (usually computer science students) that will donate space. We host our web site: http://www.ncsudeltagamma.org for free through donated space from a student here at NCSU...it's worth checking out local companies...
