Using forms online
I did a search but didn't find any threads on this. I was wondering about what to put on a form for potential new members interested in a group. Our website has a form for feedback/people interested in joining; so far it just has boxes for their contact details / what they're studying.
I thought it might be a good idea for me to add things like 'what interests you about the group' or 'what do you hope to gain from the group' etc., 'do you want to be allocated a study buddy' etc. My thinking is that it'll help with programming and was also thinking 'if we don't know your expectations how can we be expected to meet them' :). Any suggestions about what things I should put on there? I remember a Fraternity rush thread in the forums once which talked about forms they received (offline?) over the summer which told them about the person interested (I think that was more for selection/pre-selection) but I don't know what the forms had on them. Thanks! :D |
We have forms, but they are restricted to members giving information on PNMs.

Thank you to Lawryn who pm'd me. It helped! :)
Does anyone else have any further suggestions for what to ask on a rush/contact form? Reasons for needing information in first post in thread. Thanks! :D |
Decadence, personally I think that contact info is enough. You can gather the other info via correspondence, phone calls, personal meetings, etc. Just my opinion.
