Hi Sorors,

My fiancée and I were selected as finalist for WKYT's (channel 27) $40,000 wedding giveaway package. Its very similar to the Today Show wedding, where the audience votes for everything. Our interviews will air on WKYT Channel 27 on Thursday at noon. Individuals can start voting at 3:00 pm on Thursday (2.5.04) at http://www.wkyt.com

For those outside the immediate Lexington area, feel free to check out the Website info on Thursday (at www.wkyt.com) for pictures etc. Click on the "Win a wedding" banner and go from there.

Soror and her fiancee are a cute couple. The stories about her loosing her $5,000:eek: AND her mother being ill were extremely sad though. Not only does she get my vote, her and her family certainly have my prayers as well.

Its been a while since I've posted a message, but I still check in when I get a chance. Soror Nia just IM'd me to let me know she had posted the message about the wedding contest that my fiance and I are in. I'm so glad that she did. I want to thank all of you for being so supportive. I KNEW your name looked familiar to me for a reason. I kept saying that name looks all too familiar. Girl I vote twice a day -- work computer and home computer.

I forgot to vote on the 5th, but I voted today.

Wedding Contest Update - help!

There are only two more days left to vote for the wedding contest. For those of you who may be reading this messagefor the first time, my fiance and I are finalist in a $40,000 wedding giveaway contest from WKYT TV similar to the Today Show Wedding Contest. We need as many votes as possible. The competition has advertised heavily in the local media and a University of Kentucky basketball game, so we are trying to step up our game. We found out at the end of last week that the rules have been changed. Originally, each person got to vote once daily per e-mail address. The changed the rules so that it is only one vote per computer. So the key is to vote from as many different computers as possible, including palm pilots, cell phones, etc. Send this to everyone you know! Vote at www.wkyt.com. We thank you for all of your help and support.

I voted and I MADE all my co-workers vote for Soror too.....didn't even give them a chance to look at the other finalist....I was like vote for my Soror ...Thank you and good bye and moved on......
