Giving every sorority a chance is always the best decision to make. As you know there are no guarantees but the more groups you are willing to look at, the more potential there is to receive a bid.

Go to XYZ if they're not having another COB soon, especially if ABC is. That way, if things don't work out with XYZ, you'll have given them a shot and you can try the others, too. Don't worry about being seen at multiple COBs...if anyone asks, just explain that you're interested in getting to know more about all of them so that you can choose the best fit for you. There you go. :)

I feel so much better, I just had to get myself out there. I am hoping for the best, but expecting the worst, and everything happens for a reason. I am still going to go to ABC on Thursday. I did see the girls from last night, and they gave me a weird stare. Well, you guys cut me, not the other way around!
I said it before and I will say it again, I could not have done this without the support of GC!

I am glad you had a blast. And yes everything happens for a reason.

I am glad we are usefull!!!

Amalia17,

Maybe I am a little confused... but.. are you a grad student? I thought I read somewhere else that you are in a Masters program.

I could be wrong, but I thought colligate membership was only open to undergrad students. You would qualify for AI. I would think that you being a grad student is more of a factor than your age!

Please feel free to correct me!

This truly depends on the individual sorority's by-laws and the nature of the campus. A sorority's by-laws may allow it. However, if this is just not done on that chapter's campus then they will most likely not offer a bid.

She is not a grad student. She already has one degree, and is going for another in a completely different field. Therefore she is a freshman - she just happens to be a freshman who already posesses a degree.

My school considers that an undergrad and if she did not get the 1st one at the same school she would be a transfer.

I would like this would help you. The girls then could see that school is important and that you are not going to drop out.
