activities - co ed orgs
what do all those groups do which are co-ed since guys and girls like to do different things? service, professional, general orgs etc.
I see on here that girls bond (whether rush or activities for actives) through things like crafts etc but if you tried to involve the guys in that they wouldn't be too into it. co-ed sleepovers would be asking for trouble :D? so, what activities do those orgs do or isnt it a problem? |
I was in CKI back in the college days. A co-ed organization. Was actually mostly female. Plenty of co-ed activities though. Ropes courses, service projects, camping trips, volleyball games... very little in the way of artsy-craftsy crap.
Was a pretty good time. |
the guys can carry the heavy stuff LOL............... so many people tried to tell me to go Co-Ed but we have an ASL club so the boys can go there!! Unfortunately also many boys are not into ASL.

Actually, we DID have coed sleepovers in my APO chapter. :D We had our chapter planning retreat at a Boy Scout camp near IU and we all slept in the main cabin in our sleeping bags on rows and rows of bunk beds. Not a very erotic atmosphere. ;) We also had a sleepover at our chapter president's house following an exec meeting. There were less of us there but we all slept in the living room and dining room. Lots of fun.
Other things we did: service projects (duh!), movie nights, bowling, roller skating party, hayride, picnics, barbecues, dancing, dinner at local restaurants as a chapter, etc. etc. There were lots of things for us to do. And we weren't very artsy-craftsy either. |
