Tau Nu -Shawnee State University-: 4

We just started Rush this week but so far it seems like we have 4 or 5 guys interested. We shoud not have any problems getting bids, I just hope we can get more guys to come around and see what we are all about.

We have 5 guys going through new member ed right now, we had 8 but lost one to military, another to family reasons and the another that just kicked.

Omicron Nu initiated 3 cool guys this weekend. Congrats to them! :cool:

We rush a bit oddly here. We don't really get spring rush classes, but we have a pre-frosh weekend where we hold rush activities to allow them to get acquanted with the Fraternities and possibly get bids (these are guys coming to Wabash). Then, for a week before classes start in the fall, they are here for intro to college stuff during the day and more rush activities at night. During this time, the bids are given out, and pledges are inducted just before classes start.

All that said, we've gotten 2 to accept bids out of the few we gave out this early.

We had a Winter Quarter initiation for the first time in years here. Two great guys (finally) got initiated yesterday.

This is also Rush week for us. Wish us luck in giving many bids to quality guys.

our pledge retention is high right now

11 got their pins last semester, 11 were initiated

this semester we gave pins to 9 guys, and next week they'll all be initiated

Matt had told me he was going to repledge back a while ago, what happened w/that? We were too wasted at RCB to really discuss anything of any revelance concerning that.

He is special status cause he is from Rio, but we are going to get him through by the end of the school year at some point.

Heh, better do it before he leaves for Kuwait :p Hey, do me a fav would ya? Find out his shirt size for me, my sorority is making him a lil bro and also I'm making him a shirt before he leaves. :)
