After the nomination, there was no discussion and the vote was unanimous.

To quote Denver Post Sports Columnist Woody Paige, a member of the voting committee, who officially presented his name:

"Gentlemen, respectfully, John Elway."

Woo hoo! Gotta love John Elway! One hell of a QB!

Yea for John Elway!!! I followed him while he was at Stanford and even though I HATE the Broncos (being a Raiders fan and all), I still repect what he did with them, and he is totally deservingof being in the Hall of Fame!

John Elway is one of my favorite quarterbacks. I rooted for the Broncos when they won Superbowls 32 and 33. I wasn't surprised that he was elected in his first year of eligibility. He sooooo deserves to be in the NFL Hall of Fame.

While Elway was the most hated man in Kansas City, I said whoa, he may not be pretty pretty, He is one Hell of a Quarter Back! Give the due! Well where The Due is due!

John Elway came out of College as one of the biggest Quartr Back Crops of the all time alone with Jim Kelly, Dan Marino and KC took Todd Blackledge!:(

John Elway desearves all Acholades that he desearves even though he may not have been totally loved in Denver!:confused:
