I was talked into buying one of those magic shoe cleaning kits at the county fair. I still have yet to use them. This thread brought an image of Forrest Gump.

I know a guy who takes off his shoes as soon as he walks in the door and cleans them. He never wears shoes two days in a row. He is a great friend to his shoes. :)

Once my shoes start respecting me ie. not making my feet hurt, then I'll respect and take care of them more ;)

The secret is to buy good shoes. Good shoes look out for you, you look out for them. It's a relationship. You build a life together.
