Nu Beta's New Member Class Sizes
Hi Sisters,
I was wondering if there was anyway to find out what chapter or chapters have had the biggest New Member classes. I know we had 95 this past Fall and I just wasn't sure what other chapters had large numbers like that. (And no we weren't reorganizing, quota was 86 and all of the chapters at Ole Miss got quota plus!) |
Katherine, I'm not sure whether or not there's a way to find that out? I know we do track such things, just not sure if it's public knowledge. Number matter, but I think initiation and retention figures are more important awards-wise. Am I making sense?
You know the stats I'd be even more interested in? Out of the chapters who achieve quota, who has the highest retention percentages? Who's got the highest retention over a 5 or 10 year term? Using NB as an example (since Katherine volunteered the numbers :)) If NB pledged 95 and initiated 93 or more, that's 98%! Roses, Christin --always the recruitment nerd! |
We initiated only 88....one girl had to leave school because her father passed away but she might come back this Fall 2004 and repledge. Anyway, I don't know what that rate would be. So far this semester we are going strong as well! I also realize and agree with you that retention rates are more important! I didn't even think about that!

your cns gets a copy of all those stats pretty regularly from hq's - there are a couple they have all kinds of good facts, number pledged, cor'd, initiated, total, number to total, etc....
if you wanted to know to set some goals or something you could contact her and maybe set a goal to be in the top ten percentage wise for all of aoii on initiating based on what you pledge - or percentage of quota. i have to agree that initiating what you pledge is important - but to take it to the next level - keeping them active after they are initiated is vital - with our short NM period it is important to keep "recruiting" those women even after they are initiated. just some thoughts |
