GroundHog DAY!
 

Its Febuary 2nd!!

I live in the wonderful state of PA and of course the ever so popular "holiday" of sorts is comming up!! Its GroundHog DAy! I have actually gone to Puxautawuny (exciting I know) to see the actual event take place. I think that its the most hilarious holiday, and its really so silly, but I guess that's the fun in it. I'm not really sure if this was only an east-coast thing or not. Its on February 2nd, and if the groundhog--Puxautawny Phil sees its shadow there will be six more weeks of winter, if he doesn't there is an early spring ( I think that's how it goes). 3 out of 4 groundhogs saw their shadows, so there won't be an early spring! The only groundhog who didn't lives in Nova Scotia. A guy from a local radio station hopes that Sam is right and the other ones wrong!

It's winter? Who would have thought. We've had about 2 solid weeks' worth of cold weather.

my roommate and I are SO considering blowing off classes and work tomorrow to go see Phil... he's not too far away
