Latham Entertainment Presents...
Has anyone else seen this show that features Sommore, Bruce Bruce, J. Anthony Brown, Earthquake, and Ricky Smiley?
I LOVED Bruce's set, Sommore and Earthquake were pretty funny, and J. Anthony and Ricky had their moments. "Lemme get 6 glazed! 6 Glazed?? 6 Glazed!!!" |

i was dying on the part when j. anthony brown was talking about how you would get a whuppin' for falling down the well and your mama got to get off work.... and when he was talking about those priests molesting the little boys...he was wrong on so many levels, but i was dying when he was talking in the sutre.... "you nasty muth&^%$# going to hheeellll...."""" i am so glad i invested in this dvd!!! |
I rented this from Blockbuster and did not laugh once. I didn't think anything said was really funny, at all. I couldn't even pay attention during Sommore's performance because her outfit was so horrible. Rickey Smiley was okay, but he did basically all the same things that he did on ComicView.
I was disappointed in this and in the Queens of Comedy. I haven't seen a good standup performance in a long time. |

I thought parts of it were funny.. I really liked Bruce Bruce's set (especially the bit about people who are so fat they store food to eat later in their cheeks), and I liked Ricky Smiley's whole set, especially the part about the "challenged" kid who sat behind him in class. I didn't care for Sommore's set, and I thought the whole bit about J. Anthony going out to look for the sniper to kill his babymomma was  .
