Delta Gamma Chapter
 

Hey girls.
I wanted to keep y'all posted on DG. I have emailed the new president and have been informed that rush is February 2nd thru February 13th (pretty long rush).

I met the house back in November during Homecoming. They are the sweetest, most wonderful group of girls. Of course I'm entirely biased since they are my chapter of initiation.

I don't think I ever mentioned how eternally grateful those sisters were of the cards and the letters that y'all wrote to them.

With that in mind, here is their address again so we can all continue to support this chapter in their quest to gather some wonderful new Alpha's.

Have you heard anything else yet???

The girls start their spring rush tomorrow. They will be inviting women to the house and they will actually be holding a 'mock' chapter so to speak. The 'chapter' will only be about thirty minutes and will contain information that is useful for the actives but will also give the PNM's an idea of what 'chapter' is actually like.
Wednesday the girls will be holding a game night I believe and then on Friday a bbq.
U of A has spring rush going from the 2nd-13th.
I have spoken to the RVP and she has informed me that they have 8 girls already interested (and this is pre-rush).
Just an FYI though, I have been told that if the house doesn't have at least 45 girls, they won't be able to participate in formal fall rush, which in my personal opinion, could really devastate the chapter even more.

Please, please, please send these sisters some words of encouragement.

I would like to thank the women of Alpha Delta Pi's Delta Gamma chapter at the University of Arizona for opening their chapter house to the Tucson Alumnae Panhellenic for our spring Tea and for being the starting location on the annual house tour.

Those of us without chapters at the UofA appreciate your willingness to let us have a glimse inside your home for an afternoon.

I met these girls during their fall recruitment, and I agree, they are a great group of girls! They were very friendly and welcomed us in and we blended in with them during the parties. It was great and I am glad I had a chance to get to do that with them. I wish them the best of luck!

Brianna, I'm curious who said this to them. If it was the Panhellenic, they are in violation of the Green Book - NO chapter can ever be denied Formal Rush/Quota for ANY reason!! And I somehow doubt that IO would tell them that. We need to get to the bottom of this!
