If you are a mother, what do you want?
Let's play flashback too...what was that one gift that you got/made your Mom back in the day that you just KNEW was the bomb, but look back now and say what the heck was I thinking?!?!?

This year I'm giving my mom a mother's ring with the birthstones of all three of her children.

Girl, all my gifts were and still are the bomb!! What are you talking about??!! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/rolleyes.gif Ok, ok. I know there were a couple that were terrible. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/eek.gif Let me think about it. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

Man in the 2nd grade, I made this cut out flower and inside I wrote something like, Mommy I love you so much. You are so beautiful to me. I saw it a couple of years ago and FELL OUT. (wishing for a SMILY)

3 years ago I graduated the Saturday before Mother's Day from college with a job. I think that was good.

Anyway this year my brother graduates from college and this is her last baby. I am going to get her a pampering package. I am slightly financially challenged right now but that is what I will TRY to do.

I am not sure what I am gonna get my mom...she'll probably be in church all day anyway http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif Nothing beats the gift my dad gave her in '86 when my little sister was born on Mother's Day. Buuuutttt since I can't top that I'll come up with something!

I don't know yet. What do you purchase when the person already has EVERYTHING?

I guess I will get my ideas from this post.

I remember making this card from like 3rd grade. I remember the construction paper was yellow and a flower was on the front. I think we had to list the reasons why we loved our momma on the inside. She loved it, I didn't think it was alllllll that! LOL

When I was home on the weekend, I saw that she had it out on the piano for display....WTF? After ALL these years. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/confused.gif LOL

I'm buying my mother a bracelet,of mine and my siblings names. (our names will make up the bracelet, and the gift I thought was the bomb; when I was 10, a vase that I made in ceramics class and my mother thought it was an ashtray http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/frown.gif (it really does look like an ashtray). Even today she keeps it on her vanity as a spare change holder http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Well, for my "Soror Mama" http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif
I always try to get her something that reflects our relationship.. This year I am getting her a trip to a day spa (and it is costing me a pretty penny) She is the very best friend I could have and there is nothing I would not get for her (resources permitting)

My question is what do you get a monther-in-law?

Hello Sorors and Sisterfriends!!

This year, I will not be in Chicago to clelebrate Mother's Day with my momma, and my Grandma will be in Mississipi visiting her mother this year. But I let them know in my own special way that "I'll always love my mamas, they're my special girls...." (okay, I gotta stop..I'm going start crying!!)

I wanted to tell all the "mamas" in this forum, to have a wonderful and special Mother's Day! And speaking for all the kids...we really do appreciate you, and everything you do!!!

Actually my mom received her mother's day gift very early in May.

My idea was to give her a bill free month. I decided to pay her bills. I have been saving for this all year. My mom has a lot of bills!!! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif I'm talking Mortage (sp?), car note, credit cards, etc. Everything is paid in full.
Now I am broke, busted, and disgusted!!!!!

As a mother I don't know what to expect from my son, his is a very funny little boy. I'm sure I'll be ROTFLMBAO!!!!!!
