New ADPi chapter Property Manager!!!!
 

Yay! We just had elections this week for the offices, and I will be the next Property Manager for our chapter!!!

It's going to super fun and exciting, especially since I enjoyed working as an RA for my first 2 yrs of college and we will be moving into a brand-new house in the late summer !!!! :)

If anyone has any tips or new ideas, I would greatly appreciate them!! I want to make this a fun & dynamic office !

Here are a few ideas I wanted to get started:

*in addition to the responsibilities that the P.M. has, I was thinking it would be fun to have a "girls night in" at the house to watch movies, shows, whatever.. at least once a month

* cute little doortags for all sisters living in the house

* spice up the bulletin board where all the officers post news/information about things going on within their office

* pair up the residents and have a 'cleaning day' to make sure the house stays neat

* keep a clipboard outside my room in case residents can reach me and they have something going on in their room that needs fixing

Congratulations, texas*princess!! Sounds like you've given the post a lot of thought, and I'm sure you'll do a great job!

As an alum, allow me to remind you that, if you have a Housing Corporation, please include them in the major decisions. I can't tell you how many times we've had wonderful things planned, just to have them fall through due to lack of cooperation.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Now I know how to look up when i get there, especially for the Grand tour of our New House!!! I think the alumns are as excited about the new house and the collegiates. You have an awesome opportunity to set up some great traditions.

You might want to write the PM of the A&M chapter to get some more ideas, or UT Austin. :D

congratulations! hey-i was just elected property manager too!

one thing that i'm going to start is a weekly gathering to tidy up our suite. with 3-4 people, we'd be finished quickly and since we're a chatty chapter, it'd be a good excuse to visit. volunteers would get positive points too. it's going to be awesome! :)

If however, it is on the main page and is showing active and is not waiting for any response, there isn't a need to bump it. :) I use the bump when I want an answer to some thing and no one has replied.
