UBC's Newest Fraternity: Delta Chi
I have no idea why this was sent to a graduate student association listserv, but I just got this in my e-mail:
--- The Delta Chi International Fraternity is pleased to announce that we will be opening a new group at The University of British Columbia starting JANUARY 28th, 2004! Should you know of anyone who may be interested in becoming a FOUNDING FATHER and CHARTER MEMBER, we encourage you to let them (sic) of this exciting opportunity (– feel free to pass this along to those men whom(sic) may be interested)! DU had a chapter at UBC from 1935-1972. Revival attempted in late 1980's, revival was unsucsessful. DKE went inactive a year or two ago and was revived, don't know about Psi U. Good luck to the Delta Chi's. UBC has been tough on Fraternities, lots of inactive chapters according to Baird's.
