If you were a Grad Advisor for your organization and you discovered that the undergrads were hazing, would you turn them in? Why or Why not?

This situation was told to me just last week. I'm awaiting any input.

Thats a tough one, honestly I have to really think on this one.

well let's look at this situation for what it is.. if you are a Grad Advisor then you have taken on that responibility...
Think about your sorority as a whole and the fact that YOUR name will be on the lawsuit if anything goes down

But there are other ways of handling these things besides turning them in..

Great thought - that was something I thought about when I first read this:
1 was I down with this process, 2)If I wasn't down and this was done behind my back, is my name all up in it, which I believe as a Grad advisor if you don't step up then you must be a part of it at least that is how the RD in my region sees it. I don't have an answer yet.

Convinced do you want an answer based off of what you gave or do you care to put more detail to it?

It Depends on the allegations.....I would have to take the chapter's side first because I know them and I would listen to them but if there was a dead body 30 paddles and Bros standing over the dead body then there is a problem

Since that would put me in that 28/29-ish category...

It would depend on... what was going on, If I knew what was going on, my "relationship" with the Sorors, the soror's "relationship" with the interests...

Depending on the circumstances,I would turn in certain individuals for getting off the hook. If I were an advisor, I would have to say hmmmmm depending on the circumstances. Truthfully, Conskeeted ain't KETCHIN a charge FO nobody. I most definately do everything in my power to keep everyone out of trouble; however, if it just came down to it........shoot - I hate these darn question. They make me think!!!!!!!
