I need knowledge!!!!!

Hello everyone....i am a freshman in college and have always been interested in sororities. I know that i will join one and i wanted to ask if anyone could give me the names and web links to their sororities, and maybe tell me a little about their sorority so that i could research them to find the one that fits me best, i would greatly appericate it.
Thank you very much!

http://www.geocities.com/ariesrising3/greek/index.html has a list of basic info about each group along with links to each GLO's national website hope this helps!
What school are you at?

Sorry to say it does not work that way. I would suggest for you to go to your greek life office or student activites and they can give you a list of Sororities. If they are NPC then you will have to go through NPC rules, other wise talk to each sorority on campus. Each chapter is different and one group may be one thing on on campus and complely different on another. You need to find which one fits you and you fut them...

No matter what you do be honest and open.

go here for npc groups.

I checked out the website for your college and it does not seem to list any greek organizations (but I didn't dig too deep).

As a collegian, you would only be eligible to join one of sororities at your school (in terms of NPC groups). And as was already said, you would need to go through the Student Activities Office or whatever department handles Greek Life in order to find out information about recruitment.

Which campus?

beauti612 01-16-2004 08:36 PM

I am on the New Rochelle campus

also my school does not recognize greeks, they do not want to be known for the sororities on the campus so it is hard for the sororities to promote themselves

If you haven't already done so, be sure to read RUSH AT UCSC if you want a glimpse of what it might be like to start a sorority/bring a sorority onto your campus.

I don't want to sound like a downer, but believe me when I say that it's not going to be easy, and it'll be very frustrating at times. In addition to the link to the NPC website, make sure you also look at the various MultiCultural sororities expanding across the country too.

I second that!!!!!

But at the same time, while it was rough, it was still overall an awesome experience. There are a couple of us around who were founders of our chapter...if you do decide to bring a chapter to your school, I have no doubt that we will help and give you as much moral support as you need!!!
