How do you keep a long relationship live? I say, just do it. But the two people have to let go of their insecurities and be the people they are through communication. What may be said hurts but as long as you hear it you can fix it. But, then again you can only fix it if your partner will give up all the bad things they've dealt with before.

I think it is very important for the two people in the long distance relationship to spend every second of time they have together focusing on each other. DO NOT waste time addressing your insecurities. Leave them in your respective cities because the baggage just clutters up the relationship.

I totally agree with serenity_24 about spending every second of time you have together focusing on each other. Right now, I'm involved in a long distance relationship and things are kinda rocky right now because of this. It's important to have some down time where only the two of you exist.

Hey I totally agree also. I'm doing the same for my girl right now. Giving her some down time to focus on her. But sometimes it's hard but it'll all be for the best I gurantee.
