Brother Morris Hawkins
 

Brother Morris Hawkins of Mu Lambda Chapter passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at 5:30pm at Howard University Hospital.

Brother Hawkins was initiated into Beta Iota Lambda Chapter (Baton Rouge, LA Alumni Chapter) in Spring 1967.

He was an Associate Professor of Human Molecular Genetics in the Department of Microbiology at the Howard University School of Medicine.

He is a Past President of Mu Lambda, and served as President of the Beta-Mu Lambda Corporation, President of the Family Life Center Foundation (Shiloh Baptist Church), Faculty Representative in the Athletic Department, and Campus Advisor to Beta Chapter.

His Omega service will be at Shiloh Baptist Church on Monday, January 19th at 10:30am. Brothers are asked to assemble at 10:00am. The funeral will begin at 11:00am.

Shiloh Baptist Church is located at the corner of 9th and P Streets NW.
