chapters kicked off for hazing
 

Hey sisters!

In our chapter we do several programs on issues within the greek community. A few of us are doing a program on hazing in a few weeks and I was wondering if anyone knows a way to find out information about how many AZD chapters have been taken off of campuses for hazing. We have history within the school about what has happened to chapters but I would like to give a look at OUR specific nationals and how they don't take lightly to hazing.

I believe my chapter advisor's chapter got closed for hazing ... I can't rember what chapter but it was sometime last year.

Alpha Xi Delta's Epsilon Rho Chapter was put in charter suspension status for hazing. We were not kicked off campus, but for a year we were required to meet certain standards to recieve our charter back. They had to see improvement, and also see that no hazing was continuing and our academics had improved. We were on thin ice, and if anything went wrong we would be terminated.

I know Alpha Xi Delta at the University of Rhode Island was kicked off campus...not sure why though.
