Any Central Region sorors here planning to attend our Regional Conference? I am and would love to meet and greet Greekchat sorors while there. Hit me up via email if you are taking the trip.

Okay, I KNOW I'm not the only soror from the Central Region up in here...anyone going to conference? If so, email me if you're interested in having dinner with a group of online sorors.

One of my good friends just crossed Beta chapter of AKA and I know she will be attending your Regional Conference. She does post on this forum, but apparently hasn't had an opportunity to check in lately. I will try to put her in touch with you because I am sure she would like to get together with you all.

I just had to mention that I had a wonderful, blessed and fun time at the 67th Central Regional Conference in Springfield, IL. This weekend renewed my spirit and determination to work for Alpha Kappa Alpha.

Sometimes it's easy (even on GC) to get bogged down with a lot of side issues that don't really add to the service we provide our communities or the sisterly love that makes us Alpha Kappa Alpha women, so it was heartwarming to see sorors about the business of AKA and about the business of lifting each other up!

The sorors of Cluster 4 set it out, as did our gracious Regional Director, Soror Nadine Bonds! And of course, Soror Norma White did her thing with style...

Take care sorors!!!!!!!!!!

Yes me and my line sisters are definitely headed to Chicago (atleast for the stepshow-we're all kind of short financially :D ) We also would like to go to party afterwards.
We just crossed this past Sunday, can anyone give share their experiences at previous Regionals???:confused:

Sorors from Beta chapter are hosting a party tonight at Biology Bar (it's downtown. Check 411 for a phone number, address). Also, check out www.city-alert.com for details on parties and happenings this weekend in Chicago, including some events with AKA discounts, etc.

Welcome to the sisterhood, Soror Tahitian3! Pleeeassssssse make sure you and your LSs make plans to attend next year's regional conference and this year's Boule. It's vital to our sisterhood to have th participation and attendance of young sorors!

The step show
 

Regionals was an experience for us, no doubt!!!:D :D
The Chicago sorors that won first place in the stepshow brought the house DOWN!!! That was just too tight! As soon as they started their show, I knew they would take first!!!
To those that attended the stepshow (or know of someone who went): what are your thoughts of the SGRhos that stepped?:eek:

I didn't attend the show, but heard it was great. Personally, I like the idea of having other greeks participate in our regional stepshows. I've sat through too many "dry" regional conference shows in my time not to be open to seeing what other groups can contribute. I also heard that the SGRho exhibition team was good.
