a little late, but Greek Week results

This is a little late, but the Gamma Sigma chapter of Phi Sig at VCU placed 1st overall in greek week this semester. Rock on! Hope everyone else did well!:D

Congratulations! My chapter hasn't started the spring semester yet. We probably won't start until as early as late January or early February.

we do greek week in the fall semester...which is why it's a little late. :-)

We do it in the fall too! When I was active it was in the spring...but they changed it because of the terrible weather every year during Greek Week (March/April in Ohio is not great!) Anyways, ADPi at The University of Akron won Greek Week this Fall too!

congrats on winning! Go Phi Sig! and congrats akron on your win too!

ours is in the spring. (we are defending champs.) and we won homecoming this fall.

good to see us representing all over!

Rock on Phi Sig

HI There,

CSUDH doesn't do a separate Greek Week although I wish we could. We participate with all the clubs and organizations, about 60 total, during Homecoming Week in the Fall (our homecoming is a soccer game). Then we have Toro Days in the Spring. Both have various events.

For Homecoming Week we took second place in the Door Decorating Contest, Toros Gone Wild Parade Float (golf carts really), and in the Organizational Pride Showcase.

We haven't been told what the activities are going to be for Toro Days yet.

Congrats to everyone who has won or placed in their various events.

Carolyn

We use to... I remember that when we were founding that they had Greek Week and that's how I met most of the GLO's on-campus. It sucks that we don't do it anymore! Greek Week can boost Greek awareness to the rest of the campus, and promote good things about our GLO's, considering MOST people think we're all the stereotypical Greeks...
